Cleaning the action spring on my 1187 today, first time since I bought it new about six or seven years ago. Had a couple of FTFs this year.I removed the butt plate it was obviously a duck gun as the spring bolt had some rust on it and probably was never replaced.I have an Remington 11-87 that I wanted to replace the action spring.
